Heyo, everybody!
I've got this inspiration from the sky above that I have to make this blog.
So, here I come.
I have some things I may share with the strayed spirits here; also let me introduce myself properly:
I am Mei (okay, that is not my real name, you see it on the right side anyways), a girl kinda (khm. Really, helplessly) obsessed with Girugamesh, a japanese rock/metal band. Let me tell you more about this:
One of my friends told me that I should check out this japanese band called "the GazettE". Firstly I wasn't really impressed about their music, but I searched for their disco, and succesfully downloaded it after some days. In one night I ran through all the songs; there was only one which caught my interest, it's title is "torugo". (That is one favourite still!) But then the same friend came: "Hey I've heard about this band, called "Versailles". KAMIJOOOO!" (leave them in peace, they disbanded)... so I checked out that too. And I felt kinda sick. I mean: why is the guitartist dressed as a girl - and is a man? And why is the other one look so adorable? And then I forgot about them.
Some month after the soul-mate of mine came, and made me to watch anime with her - I only saw Pokemon before when it was at its blossom. So we sat down to my computer and watched an episode of D.Gray-man. And then one more. I can't clearly remember but I think we started with the episode when Lavi appears; he is the guy with kinda short red hair, a long scarf and a big-small hammer - and my favourite animecharacter (after Rin - from Ao no Exorcist; as for another story) ever. So I've fallen in love with that anime. And so with its music: the first opening was written by "Abingdon Boys School" - I downloaded their disco some weeks after the first DGM ep, because I'd found "Darker than Black", and I'd fallen for it's OP too, which was also written by ABS. (But the best OP song in the entire DGM series was the third: "Doubt & Trust" by "ACCESS"!) Nevermind. After that I've found a website full of j-rock music; and I downloaded what I felt I would like.
Long story a bit shorter: I found "NIGHTMARE", and I kept listening to them with ABS. Not long after I met with "GRANRODEO" - the writers of the OP of "Kuroko no Basket", "CODE:Breaker", "Karneval" ...and I can't even tell which series. Then one day I woke up with the will that I want to listen to some nasty "Versailles". (I was a little big metalhead before, I listened to "Helloween", "Gamma Ray", "Stratovarius", "Sirenia", "Nightwish", "Hammerfall", "Breaking Benjamin" [my first screamer ever] and even "Disturbed" and "PAIN". And so ooooon~...) So the choice of becoming a "Versailles"-fan was kinda a weird joke for the first time; I didn't consider their music as metal - not even rock. But things change, I ended up with one of the greatest loves ever. It lasted two months. Yep.
Worth it!
That was the time I was really into the "Oh, there's a live DVD from that (or that) band! I reall wanna see it!" - so I saw all of them which have caught my interest. Some of them ended up only listened at, like the two "GALEYD" (let them rest in peace too) live. And that was the time when "Girugamesh" came in the picture. At the ides of August in 2013. I even ended up listening to three of their songs from the "13's reborn" album ("Owari to Mirai", "robust conviction", "Jarring fly") at any time at any rate, like it was meant to be listened to. I even told myself that at this rate I'd fall out of the love for "Versailles".
Well, as long as I can remember the "Versailles"-fan friend of mine came to our house once, and we watched Girugamesh's live DVD (Gaisen Kouen - CHIBA) - for me the first time, but the second listening to it. We even agreed that the vocalist must have been playbacking, those screams weren't real at all~.
But even so I felt something like "my life won't be complete if I live my days without their music". And I kept listening to their songs. And then: NEW SINGLE. I grasped the opportunity to figure out and live through their so called "evolution".
After the "GO" album and the two singles it was a surprise. I still can remember how I felt when I downloaded the sound from the PV of "INCOMPLETE". I kept on begging for more; and then the single came out. And I wrote a note - a review of some kind, so there's written proof! - in Hungarian. I try to translate it, but it might not bring back the same feeling:

"The hope dies... so, also, last.
Well. I had hopes.
They happened.
They swam a round with the fish. The hope-fish. (Literally, die and fish has the same form in Hungarian.)
Not all is lost yet!
It is not bad. But where's the Giru' in it?... ugh, I am tired. Sorry, I'll tell you more about this story of mine later this week, okay?
Uh, somewhere in the disk...
Okay, I say: in everything.
- I mean it like "that" is in the title song, in "INCOMPLETE", but between the lines, and maybe in the bass. Okay, the guitar is still not a skinned cat and the drums are still not some sounds of the ruler hitting the table. And the Satoshi's voice is either... well... other's.
- In the "LIMIT BREAK" "that" can be found where's NO chorus and no backing vocals in line. And somewhere between the 5th-6th second till the upper mentioned part. (The best: in the fifth second there's the Giru-like backing scream. That was the taking up - and the thing which made me love this single.) On the other hand, suddenly at 2:30 I did not listen to Girugamesh. But Nokubura. This is not bad for someone who loves to break things... but... darlings... are you playing smooth or hard rock? (I rather not question nor metal nor pop, with these circumstances...)
One thing is sure: FORTH. (It depends... might I be standing backwards...?)"
- "TAKT" made me a suprise. There's some kind of canned-music(?)-beat at the beginning... and sometimes in the song, still. But the guitar-drums-bass trio... yes, they're the corners of my heart. Satoshi's brought his energy too, but please... I really can't tell right not where they are going...
Stay blessed and happy untill we meet again! (o^^o)♪
